*Updated 3/07/12* Google has changed Android Market to Android Play Store.
Ever since the announcement, the new Android Market3.0 has been rolling out for Android devices with 2.2 or higher. The main feature of this Android market is the way users purchase books and movies, which starts at $1.99. These can be streamed or downloaded to an Android device. The new services is currently only available in US markets. In addition to the service features, they also made a massive overhaul of the UI to greatly enhance speed and usability.
The roll out process is slow and could take weeks before you get to use the new Android market. Of course, you could always do the update manually by downloading and installing the apks.
Note that these update is for phones with Android 2.2 and higher only.

Depends on your device really. Older ones will be a little sluggish.
If i install the update thru downloading from this link, how will i know i have the google push update while this download is installed?
If i download ths apk, is it as official as the google push update?
Will the update override this download?

Ok, ill leave it on then. If the update is different it will still update, i assume.
